In 2003, owners Jeff and Shelly Mathews began searching for a loving, loyal pet for their kids. Jeff soon discovered an ad for some lab puppies. Realizing that their family's new dog didn't know how to sit, stay or heel, Jeff and Shelly started looking into dog obedience training. The rest is history.
